Elevators
Same as the other control surfaces, I drew out the shape on the table in pencil, and screwed in the blocks to fix the tubes. Here the elevator is being reassembled after painting. The next step is to replace each cleco with a rivet dipped in epoxy paint.
A finished elevator. Notice the ribs are at two different angles. Same reasoning as with the rudder; to improve resistance to bending while on the ground.
